To give myself a break from my usual vanilla scents (they felt so repetitive), I went on a perfume-hunting spree to find something that makes me feel fresh and feminine!
That’s when I stumbled upon a luxe Insta reel where I spotted Delilah perfume by Maison Alhambra. It instantly caught my eye—the bottle, the packaging looked gorgeous, and the way it was described, I thought I might have found the one.
Now, this one was a total blind buy, and I’m here to spill exactly how it went.
Let’s just say… my instincts were 100% right.

My Experience with Delilah Perfume
Delilah by Maison Alhambra falls into the floral–fruity family, and it’s an Eau de Parfum (EDP) made for women.

First impressions
The bottle is gorgeous—feminine, pretty, and heavy in the hand. Definitely gives luxury vibes. If you’ve seen Delina by Parfums de Marly, you’ll notice the design is quite similar.
This is an Arabic perfume from the famous Lattafa, and it opens with a sweet, citrusy punch that hits you right away.
Fragrance notes
- Top Notes: Litchi, Rhubarb, Bergamot, Nutmeg
- Middle Notes: Turkish Rose, Peony, Vanilla, Musk, Petalia
- Base Notes: Cashmeran, Incense, Cedar, Haitian Vetiver
How did the scent feel
What does Delilah by Maison Alhambra smell like? The first time I tried it, though—it smelled very sweet and spicy on the initial spray, and I honestly felt it a bit too much. You can say it’s a bit bold. It has a creamy base.
Just imagine, a juicy, fruity sweetness with a tickle of warm spice—like litchi and rhubarb dusted with nutmeg. That’s what it smells like.
Then, after about 20–30 minutes, the sharpness fades, and it mellows down into this soft, wearable floral scent that feels feminine and elegant. Now I’m in love with it. Think of roses blooming with fruitiness.
As the day goes on, it softly transitions into a sweet woody that lingers on the body.

Performance and staying power
The longevity of Delilah perfume is amazing—about 3 hours of projection—but I can still smell it on my skin by the end of the day. And yes, after a fresh spray, people will smell you before you even walk into the room.
I like spraying it on my wrists, behind my ears, and even on my belly so the scent slowly wafts throughout the day.
The fragrance smells so fresh, it’s perfect for summer/spring. I wear it for dinners, chill days at home, and frankly, anytime I want to feel a little mesmerizing. It just screams feminine.
While I’ve never smelled Delina by Parfums de Marly, this is said to be a very close dupe. Since it’s a fraction of the price and how much I enjoy wearing this, I’d happily repurchase once I run out.
Try Delilah if you:
- Love feminine, romantic scents
- Don’t mind a bold opening that mellows beautifully
- Want a Delina-inspired fragrance for under $30
Pro tip: I learned this from another perfume lover! Let it macerate (a process of oxidizing your fragrance so it lets the ingredients blend and settle, softening any sharpness). Stash the bottle away in a drawer for two weeks, shaking it every few days and spraying a little to let it air. After that, the strong spice and powdery notes will soften nicely. If it feels too strong at first, let it settle, and it might just surprise you.
And do this ONLY if you don’t adore the original scent already!

Final Verdict
Delilah by Maison Alhambra is one of those perfumes that gets better as you wear it. The bottle is beautiful, the scent is feminine and captivating, and the performance is impressive for its price point. While the opening can feel bold—especially if you’re not into powdery or spicy starts—the dry down is where it all comes together. It’s elegant, oh-so-feminine, and lingers without being overpowering. When I wear this, I feel like my most feminine self!
This is a superb pick, especially if you’re looking for a budget-friendly alternative to high-end fragrances like Delina. I’d recommend it to anyone who loves floral–fruit scents that exude sophistication.
