Street Wear Color Rich Lipstick Runway Russet – Review

Let me tell you I’m a fan of lipsticks, subtle and neutral shades enhance my lips and look natural at the same time. So I’ve been using a lipstick since long but didn’t got time to review it. My college is off today so now’s the time to do it! It’s Street Wear Color Rich Ultra Moist Lipstick in shade Runway Russet. I’m loving it so much that I wear it every other day.

Price: Rs. 220/-

 Quantity: 4.2 gms

I like the packaging of this lipstick! A trendy girl’s cartoon is printed on the cap which catches attention. Base of the lipstick is all black. Only thing I find bothering is it never twists back completely to its base and lipstick is always visible which makes it prone to breakage and scratches.

My Experience: I’m always on a hunt for perfect lipstick shades that flatter my complexion. I came across this lipstick and I bought it without a second thought. Runway Russet is a pretty dusty rose shade. It’s a mix of pink and brown with slight mauve undertones. It suits my dusky complexion beautifully so it will suit every skin tone.

It doesn’t have any shimmer. After application it settles into a semi-matte finish. It doesn’t dry out lips but if you have dry lips you need a lip balm underneath. It is somewhat moisturizing. One swipe is enough for a natural look but if you have pigmented lips you’d need 2-3 swipes. It comes out as a neutral shade and nude for my lips. It’s perfect for college and office wear.

It survives light meals and after that it fades. It can’t survive full meals. Without having anything it survives for 3 hours. After fading I can still see a tint which still looks good. If I reapply without exfoliating, my lips turn flaky. I wish it stayed longer.

Swatches:

This is how it looks indoor.

Light, rosy brown at outside!

Pros:
• Beautiful shade for every skin tone.
• Creamy application without tugging.
• This lipstick is cheap but the quality it offers is great!
• Isn’t drying on lips.

Cons:
• Doesn’t stay long.
• Flakes and looks unflattering if applied without exfoliation.

Final Word: This kind of shade is very wearable and apt for daily use. Street Wear lipstick is a good choice for budgeted beauties out there which offers decent moisturization, is pigmented and range of shades is huge. It’s value for money and highly recommended!
