Himalaya Pure Hands Hand Sanitizer Review

I’ve been a cleanliness freak since my childhood and still going strong. I have an obsession with cleanliness, and due to that, I constantly wash my hands many times a day. Doing this makes my hands super dry and sometimes flaky. Not more than a few days ago, I received few hand sanitizers from the house of Himalaya. Since then, I’m using them, and there’s no going back. They are better than washing hands multiple times a day with soap or a hand wash. Today, I’m going to share my deets on these cute little hand sanitizers.

What does it claim?

  • Effective against bacteria and fungi
  • Self-drying gel
  • No soap and water required after use
  • Recommended and used by doctors

Take 0.5 ml to 1 ml of the gel on your palms. Now, rub it all over the palms, fingernails, back of the hands briskly until they’re dry. Close the flip-top cap after every use.

I want to start it off by saying that I don’t believe in hand sanitizers in general because of the chemicals they contain. Though they are effective for killing germs and sanitizing hands, I’m not too fond of the idea of eating something with chemically laden hands. So when Himalaya sent me their newly launched Himalaya Pure Hands Hand Sanitizer in 4 fruity variants, I got excited. The reason is that their products contain natural ingredients, and me being an organic and natural skincare product supporter, I couldn’t resist them.

Apart from the basic lemon variant of their hand sanitizer, Himalaya Pure Hands Hand Sanitizer comes in 4 amazing, fruity variants – Strawberry, Orange, Green Apple, and Litchi. These come in a plastic bottle with a green flip-top cap that shuts with a click. They have a runny, gel-like texture that spread easily on the hands. Upon opening the flip cap, I must say it smells so sweet, exactly like the fruit, and the scent is so mesmerizing that I feel like eating it.

I take 1-2 drops of the sanitizer and rub my hands vigorously until it dries. It doesn’t dry out my hands and rather leaves them looking soft and crisp. After the application, my hands smell luscious, and I can’t help but take a whiff of them. My favorite variants are Strawberry and Green Apple. 🙂  I use this sanitizer every time I’m out and about, particularly when there’s no water available. They come in handy while traveling. I also use it when I’m doing my makeup, and while I change my products, I use this hand sanitizer to make sure my hands are clean and free from dirt and germs. Upon using it, I can definitely say that they are safe for hands because they are herbal and free from unnecessary chemicals.

These look so cute! I wanna try the Strawberry variant. And *hi5* out of habit I also wash my hands too many times in a day! 😀

I am getting one of these for sure 😀

  3. Amazing review. Himalaya is an herbal hand sanitizer that cleans and disinfects hands, and reduces the risk of infection.
