My Experience with Faces Ultime Pro HD Pressed Powder

This pressed powder comes in a black-colored box. Inside it a square-shaped golden metallic single palette with a sponge inside it to apply powder on the face.

Talking about the powder’s texture, it is lightweight, feels soft, and makes your skin flawless. It stays up to 8 hours and makes skin soft, and it also delivers an outstanding pigmentation.

Post-application, I get a glow to your skin, and it gives me an even look. This pressed powder has light to medium coverage. It is a matte powder, not thick, and even it is not chalky for a compact.

It mattifies the pores. However, don’t conceal them. Its texture is neither grainy nor super smooth. Talking about the finish, it is sheer if you dust it lightly, and one can eventually build the pigmentation.

I found this powder great after application, and it makes my skin feel light, as if I’ve applied nothing. But the only problem with this powder is after 2-3 hours, my skin appears shiny as I have oily skin, so touch-ups are usually required.

I have been using this compact for more than 6 months.  Honestly, when I started using it, I didn’t like it much because I was not much into applying makeup. All I ever did was just applied BB cream and went out. But when I started using it regularly, I got to know how good it is.

The best part about Faces Ultime Pro HD Pressed Powder is, it comes in 5 different shades, and currently, I am using the shade Ivory 01. Here are the different shades you can give a shot.

  1. Ivory 01 (for those who have fair skin)
  2. Natural Beige 02 (for those with skin not too dark, not too fair)
  3. Olive Beige 04 (for those with wheatish skin)
  4. Sand 05 (for those whose skin is tanned because of the sun)
  5. Almond Beige 03 (for those with dusky skin)

Difference between Loose Powder and Pressed Powder?

Loose powders are a great option if you’re looking to achieve a luminous, even finish and their silkier texture which means they often work better as setting powders to finish a look.

The coverage provided by loose powders is light, and you are more likely to find mineral makeup in a loose powder rather than pressed. A pressed powder is ideal for someone on the go or someone who wants a bit more precision and a wider shade range.

Pressed powder foundations provide more exact, controllable coverage and are easier to apply if you’re new to powder.

How to apply Faces Ultime Pro HD Pressed Powder?

  • After applying the foundation, take the powder brush to take some amount of powder.
  • Remove the access powder by dabbing on the compact box.
  • Apply it all over your face for setting up your foundation.

OR

With the pressed powder, you are provided with the sponge to even apply with that if you don’t have a brush.

Pros

  • Naturally flawless finish
  • Medium coverage
  • Lightweight and long-wearing
  • Paraben-free
  • Staying power up to 8 hours

Cons

  • Not good for oily

Now the question arises, whether you should buy or not?

Final Word

I would say Faces Ultime Pro HD Pressed Powder is excellent, and one should buy it as it is lightweight and travel-friendly. It can be used as a touch-up before any party or meeting.

The pressed powder has light to medium coverage making your skin flawless, and has the power of staying up to 5 hours. It gives a matte finish look, but it might shine after 2-3 hours if your skin is oily.

So, you can go with this pressed powder along with the same brand foundation if your skin is oily; otherwise, using this pressed powder alone or with any other foundation will give you a great result.
