Good morning girls! May you shine so beautifully always! 🙂
My review will be on Clean and Clear Fairness Face Wash today. I bought this face wash for my oily skin hoping it’ll control oil. Let’s see if it was true to its claim or not..

Price: Rs. 55/-

Quantity: 40 g

What it Claims:

Oil free
Won’t clog pores
Cherry extract formula instantly brightens skin

Water, Stearic Acid, Glycerin, Propylene Glycol, PEG-8, Myristic Acid, Potassium Hydroxide, Lauric Acid, Glyceryl Stearate (and) PEG-100 Stearate, Synthetic Beeswax, Oryza Sativa (Rice) Extract, Methylparaben, Fragrance, TetraSodium EDTA, Propylparaben, Iodopropynyl Butylcarbamate, Tocopheryl Acetate, Niacinamide, BHT, o-Cymen-5-ol, Ascorbyl Glucoside, Citrus Grandis (Grapefruit) Fruit Extract, Prunus Cerasus (Bitter Cherry) Fruit Extract, Butylene Glycol, Lilium Candidum Flower Extract, CI 14700, CI 17200.

My Experience: I bought this face wash to use on my vacations because my Biotique Pineapple Face Cleansers bottle was not handy.

Clean and Clear Fairness Face Wash comes in a mauve colored plastic tube with a transparent flip top cap which is sturdy. Its packaging is same like Clean and Clear Fairness Cream, which I also reviewed here. You’ll always be confused if you’re using both.

This face wash is in white colour with light pink tones. Its consistency is creamy and thick. I can feel small granules on my skin but they aren’t visible. It has a mild smell and I can smell cherries.

I squeezed a small amount out of the tube and applied it on my wet face. A pea sized amount is enough per wash. It foamed very well and got rinsed off easily. After patting dry, I noticed my face become brighter and imparted a pinkish glow. It also cleansed away dirt from my face and I was too happy with this. But I felt a layer on my face which was uncomfortable like I’m wearing a cream or something.

It was recommended to use its fairness cream along with the face wash but I didn’t use it.

After an hour my face started looking oily and greasy. I guess this face wash didn’t control my oil according to its oil free claim. Als,o the glow faded away within the same hour. I didn’t expected any fairness from this face wash as nothing can make me fair permanently and I’m not a huge fan of fairness. I got a breakout after a few days and not sure if this face wash was responsible for it but I won’t recommend it for acne prone skin. It will suit oily and normal skin. If you have a dry skin then make sure to follow up with a moisturizer.

● Nice fragrance and texture.
● Only a pea size amount is required for the whole face which saves a lot of product.
● Leaves skin clean and fresh.
● Gives a pinkish glow to the skin.

● Doesn’t control oil for decent period of time.
● Skin gets greasy and prone to breakouts.
● Contains lot of chemicals.

Final Word:

I think this face wash will suit normal and oily skin. It comes in a cute looking tube, cleans face well making it fairer and glowing but don’t expect it to make you fairer for longer duration. Overall, It’s a fine face wash for daily use.
