Elle 18 Color Boost Red Passion lipstick comes in a cute neon pink cap with a black base. Lipstick has a dual core format with an orange colored centre which is tinted as well. Packaging is sturdy and shuts tight so no need to worry and can be tossed into the purse without thinking. Details about shade is printed on the bottom of the lipstick. I mostly use it as a tint on my lips.
My Experience: Red Passion is a bright red shade with orange and coral undertones. It will flatter any skin tone even the duskier beauties. It instantly lightens my face defines my lips. It’s very pigmented and in one swipe it covers the lip pigmentation if you have any. Two swipes are enough for a ready to go lips.
It’s texture is very creamy and glides effortlessly without tugging. It smells of cocoa which I like! After application it settles into a semi matte finish. It is very moisturizing. It doesn’t have shimmers at all. I usually blot it with a tissue to lessen its intensity. One downside is that it bleeds after application so contouring lips with a lip liner is a must. It feathers a bit which isn’t a big issue.
It stays for 3 hours without any meals. Having tiny snacks makes it fade a bit. Heavy meals completely fade it and at last a subtle stain is left. Staying power can be improved by blotting it with tissue after application and then reapplying.

Final Word: I love how insanely pigmented this lipstick is! It’s moisturizing, semi-matte and brightens complexion! A single swipe is enough for a light look. If you love red lipsticks, then do give it a try!
