5 Oils That Promote Faster Hair Growth

With the polluting environment, it seems really difficult to take care of hair problems like hair fall, dull hair, thin hair, dry hair, and much more.

Since childhood, we are told to apply hair oil one night before shampooing because hair oils tend to stimulate our hair for good.

Oiling hair at least once a week is a key to healthy and long hair. I’m going to list those oils that promote faster hair growth.

Hair oils boost hair growth. However, some hair oils work for a particular problem, and regular usage leads to faster hair growth.

Who doesn’t want long, beautiful, and lustrous hair? In this article, you’ll find some great natural oils which give competition to costly hair serums and oils and are much more effective than them.

Castor oil

Oils That Promote Faster Hair Growth

Castor oil is known for being beneficial for skin, and hair, and also for consumption. It has a very thick consistency, and it moisturizes the hair from deep within and makes it thick.

Castor oil helps in hair growth, prevents hair damage and split ends. Warming it up with coconut oil for a few minutes will thin up its consistency to apply easily and double up the benefits.

Leave it on your hair overnight and wash it off the next morning. Avoid applying too much of this oil, or it will be hard to rinse it off.

Almond oil

It is one of the multipurpose oils which is used for skin and hair care. It instantly adds shine to dull hair.

Moisturizing the scalp with almond oil reduces hair fall and helps in hair growth. It enhances hair growth rapidly.

Apply it at least 2 times a week, and your hair will get all the nourishment it needs. It also treats dandruff which is a common hair problem. It is also used as a leave-in conditioner for rich hair treatment. Use almond oil for many weeks, and you’ll notice the difference.

Olive oil

We must be aware that olive oil is used for cooking and skincare but do we also know for hair? Yes, it is.

Olive hair is known to increase hair strength, reduce hair fall, get rid of head lice and dandruff, tame frizzy hair, and maintain a healthy scalp.

Massage your scalp in circular motions and leave it overnight to let it work. Wash the next morning with a mild shampoo. Do this 2-3 times a week. Regular oiling with olive oil promotes hair growth.

Coconut oil

Coconut oil has been used for hair and skin for ages. It is my holy grail hair oil. I’m using it for a year, and I can say it has definitely done better for my hair.

I apply it before washing my hair and after shampooing as a leave-in conditioner and massage my scalp and tresses with it. The best thing is that it feels light on the hair. Applying it on the ends of the hair prevents split ends.

Coconut oil prevents hair loss by mixing gooseberry (amla) or lime water and applying it to the affected areas. Adding curry leaves to coconut oil and heating it a bit, and then applying to hair growth.

Jojoba oil

Oils That Promote Faster Hair Growth

Pronounced as ho-ho-ba oil, it is an expensive oil that has availability issues. It has the same molecular structure as sebum (natural oil found in the scalp).

Jojoba oil blends into the scalp, easily moisturizing it. It is used mostly to treat dandruff and dry and rough hair. This hair growth oil adds volume and shine to hair. Mixing it with essential oils like lavender, rosemary, eucalyptus, etc., enhances faster hair growth.

Mix jojoba oil with your shampoo and conditioner to hydrate dry hair. It keeps the hair tangle and frizz-free. Rub jojoba oil to your scalp and gently massage. This will improve the blood circulation of hair follicles and activate hair growth.

These were the five effective oils that promote hair growth.

Why need to spend hundreds of bucks on a hair product which contains loads of chemicals when you can spend a dime on natural hair oils that works more effectively than them?
