14 Homemade Face Packs for Summer Pampering

Hi, girlies! In summer, our skin needs extra attention and care. When it comes to pampering skin, face packs come to my mind. They are cooling to skin and I use them on weekends to restore the lost glow. Homemade face packs are one of the best skincare products for glowing skin. You don’t have to worry about chemicals either since they are natural and beneficial for skin. Here are some  pampering homemade face packs you can easily make for soothing your skin in hot summer: 

● Mint Cucumber Face Pack

Take 1 tablespoon mint juice, 1 tablespoon cucumber juice, and half teaspoon peppermint extract. Mix all the ingredients and apply on face. Wash off when it dries.


● Strawberry Face Pack


Take 3 strawberries and 1 tablespoon rose water. Mash strawberries and mix rose water into it. You may use Dabur Gulabari Rose Water. Apply the mixture on face and leave it on for 20-25 minutes. Wash with cold water.



● Fuller’s Earth-Honey Face Pack


Take 1 tablespoon honey, 1 teaspoon lemon juice, 2 teaspoon Multani Mitti, 2 teaspoon water. Mix Multani Mitti with water and leave it for 30 minutes. Mix honey and lemon into and apply it on the face. After 15 minutes wash your face.


● Simple Papaya Pack


Mash 2 big pieces of papaya. Mix rose water/lemon juice/toner (optional). Apply it on face liberally and wash after 20 minutes.


● Pumpkin Pie Face Mask


Boil some pieces of pumpkin and mash it into a puree. Now, in 2 teaspoon puree, mix 1 teaspoon honey and half teaspoon milk. Apply it on the face for 20-25 minutes and then see a glow after washing it.


This face pack is full of Vitamin A, Vitamin C, and Zinc which will brighten up your face instantly. I recommend this face pack for glowing skin.



● Tomato Oatmeal Mask


Take 1 cut piece of tomato, 1 tablespoon instant oatmeal (available in market) and 1 tablespoon lemon juice and mix them all in a blender. Apply a heavy layer of this pack. To thicken the consistency add more oatmeal. Keep it on for 10 minutes and wash it with lukewarm water. Regular use of this face pack will also lighten pigmentation and scars.


As we all know, a tomato is a natural bleaching agent, de-tans skin and of course brightens skin tone.


● Tulsi Face Pack


Take 1 teaspoon milk powder, 5-6 tulsi leaves, and 1 teaspoon milk and blend it well. Now apply this mixture like an ubtan and keep it on until it dries and then washes it off. Tulsi is said to be rich in anti-oxidants and has antibacterial properties which clarify skin.


● Skin Lightening Pack

Mix coconut milk with honey and apply it on your face and neck. Leave it for 10-12 minutes. Wash it off with cold water. This will lighten your skin eventually and is one of the best homemade face masks.


● Fruit Face Pack


Take an apple, tomato, and orange and mash them. Wash your face and take some steam. Massage your face with this face pack for 15-20 minutes and wash it off with lukewarm water.


● Sandalwood Face Pack 


Add 1 tablespoon milk powder, honey, lemon and almond oil to sandalwood powder. Apply this on the face for 10-15 minutes.


● Dal Face Pack


Soak masoor dal in water or curd overnight. Now blend it well and apply this on face regularly for 15 days and you’ll start noticing a glow.


● Face Mask for Oily Skin


Take 1 teaspoon yeast, 1 tablespoon sugar and half cup milk and mix until all the ingredients dissolve and let it be at a hot temperature. When it starts getting foamy apply it like a face pack. 


● Almond Face Pack


Take 4 soaked almonds and grind it with milk. Mix 1 tablespoon of orange juice and Vitamin A capsule to the mixture. Apply it on face focusing more on the scars/marks and wash after 20 minutes. This is one of the effective homemade face masks for glowing skin.


● Soothing Potato Face Pack


Take 1 tablespoon finely chopped potato and mix it with whipped curd and apply on your face for 20 minutes. If you have oily skin, you can use rose water too.
