Himalaya Herbals Pure Skin Neem Facial Kit | Review

I’m so excited today because I’m going to be sharing my experience of using the Himalaya Pure Skin Neem Facial kit which comes with a face massager. Does not that sound exciting?

This product was launched earlier as well but the previous facial kit consisted of only 3 products: Face Wash, Face Scrub and Face Pack. This new packaging is updated with 7 products for a lively and pampering facial session! Let’s move on to know more about it!

Himalaya Herbals Purifying Neem Face Wash

Price: Rs. 60/-

Ingredients: Neem, Turmeric, Inactives:  Phenoxyethanol, Methylchloroisothiazolinone

So, the first step is to use the face wash. It is a green coloured gel face wash which smells like neem. I took a little dollop of this face wash and used it on the face massager to clean my face in a circular motion. This face massager works well and removes the dead skin effectively. My face was fresh and glowing after using this face wash. I’ve used this face wash before, and the results have been fantastic in terms of solving my skin problems.

Himalaya Refreshing Cleansing Milk

Price: Rs. 80/-

Ingredients: Lemon, grapeseed, peppermint. Inactives: Methylparaben IP, Propylparaben IP, Phenoxyethanol IP.

I used the cleansing milk and massaged it into my skin. Using the cleansing milk makes sure that every trace of oil and dirt is removed. Apart from the use for facial, it can also be a substitute for a makeup remover.

Himalaya Purifying Neem Scrub

Price: Rs. 70/-

Ingredients:
Neem, apricot, and turmeric, Inactives: Methylparaben IP, Propylparaben IP, Phenoxyethanol IP

Ah, I can’t express how much I like this scrub from Himalaya Herbals. This scrub is white in colour with tiny green and orange granules. It has a creamy consistency. I squeezed a small amount of it and applied it on my wet face. It did not feel harsh on my face and I massaged it for about 2 minutes. Then, I rinsed my face and my skin was glowing. It didn’t dry out my skin and it felt soft and even. It definitely clears up the skin and removes dead skin cells.

Himalaya Refreshing and Clarifying Toner

Price: Rs. 80/- for 100 ml

Ingredients: Lentil, citrus limon, Boerhavia Root Extract, Inactives: Phenoxyethanol IP, Methylisothiazolinone, Benzoic Acid, Sodium Benzoate IP

After using the scrub, it was time to use the toner. Earlier when I started out as a beauty blogger, I used to use the toner religiously, but now I rarely use it. When I saw the toner in this pack, I was excited to use it as I’ve heard good reviews about it from my fellow bloggers. The toner smells sweet-citrusy. I used it on a cotton ball to clean my face. One thing which bothered me that it left a sticky feeling on my face. It does not feel good especially when you have oily skin, but since it’s alcohol-free and non-comedogenic, I don’t think we need to worry about it too much.

Himalaya Purifying Neem Pack

Price: Rs. 70/-

Ingredients: Fuller’s earth, neem, turmeric, Inactives: Sodium Methylparaben, Sodium Propylparaben, Imidazolidinyl Urea, DMDM Hydantoin.

I used this neem face pack for the first time. It’s greyish-green in colour and has a thick consistency. It contains neem, turmeric and fuller’s earth. I applied a thin layer of this neem pack on my face and in the initial few minutes, it felt sticky, but it’s perfectly normal for a herbal face pack. I had the pack on for 15-20 minutes. It did not take much time to wash it off. After the wash, I had clean, pure and radiant skin.

Himalaya Nourishing Face Moisturizing Lotion

Price: Rs. 80/-

Ingredients: Carrot seed oil, white lily, Aloe vera and almond oil. Inactives: Sodium Benzoate IP, Methylparaben IP,  Propylparaben IP, Phenoxyethanol IP.

The last step of the facial is to moisturize our skin. I took a coin sized amount of this cream and applied it onto my face. As I have oily skin, it felt a little greasy the first time, but the next time, I took just a pint of this lotion and applied it on my face and neck. If you have oily skin, you may skip this step and use your suitable moisturiser for your skin. For dry skin, this lotion will work.

Final Word

This Himalaya Herbals Pure Neem Facial Kit is a good choice if you have oily or acne-prone skin. It comes with a facial massager which you can use to exfoliate your skin and bid adieu to dead skin cells. I am very impressed with the results. The added advantage is that it is herbal so I recommend it to those who want fewer chemicals in their facial kit.

  1. I have used the facewash and the cleansing milk from Himalaya Herbals. Liked them but the only thing that bothered me was the use of parabens. Btw, the show stopper of the kit is the little massager.

    1. I still use the Himalaya cleansing milk and it does a great job. The only thing is, it sometimes stings my eyes so I steer it away from my eyes. And yes, parabens are there.

  2. Wow…that’s a bunch! ???? And that brush is soo cute! But personally the toner doesn’t suit my skin. I wanna try the neem scrub. ????

  3. Face massager is Great
Have used each of these products individually and its awesome.
One awesome kit it is 🙂

    1. Yes, this Himalaya Herbals massager works on batteries. They come included but once they are low, then you will have to get a new one. 🙂
