My Experience with Maybelline New York SuperStay Crayon Lipstick – Enjoy the View
First impressions
Maybelline SuperStay Crayon Lipstick arrives in a slim, plastic-wrapped pencil with no outer box. It feels lightweight in the hand, making it incredibly travel-friendly, and the cap secures with a satisfying click.
My only complaint about the packaging is that the actual shade name is missing—only a tiny, hard-to-read shade number is printed on the bottom. On the bright side, the crayons are color-coordinated. The outer casing matches the lipstick shade exactly, which is visually pleasing and makes the crayon look surprisingly high-end and attractive.
Formula, texture and application
The crayon is retractable and has an incredibly soft texture that delivers rich, one-swipe pigmentation with absolutely no tugging. While the sharp tip is perfect for precise application right out of the box, you can easily maintain it using the built-in sharpener at the back.
Upon application, the formula feels rich and creamy before setting into a comfortable matte finish in about two minutes.
Shade performance
The shade Enjoy The View is a stunning terracotta nude. It is a gorgeous everyday color that beautifully flatters fair and medium skin tones, though it will likely wash out deeper, duskier complexions.
Longevity and wear time
While the lipstick is mostly transfer-proof, it won’t survive an oily meal and lasts only four to five hours before noticeable fading. For a “SuperStay” product, it isn’t exceptionally long-lasting.
Pricing
At 799 INR, the price feels a bit steep. The product quantity is disappointingly low, especially since you can easily find similar shades in Maybelline’s more affordable ranges.

Maybelline Super Stay Crayon Lipstick is in no way a bad product, but the price does not justify the small quantity of product you get. The pigmentation and formula are good, though. The shade range isn’t groundbreaking—you can easily find identical colors in Maybelline’s more affordable lines. Because Maybelline is widely available online and offline, I highly recommend swatching it in person first and holding out for a sale before purchasing.
