Maybelline Baby Lips Bright Out Loud Review
This new range of Baby Lips Bright Out Loud seems very poppy. Its packaging is different from previous ones. It comes in a sleek and long funky red packaging with blue font. The packaging’s color code goes with the shade. It’s easy to toss anywhere in purse and is quite easy to carry. It’s not at all flimsy and rather shuts with a click. It has a twist-up mechanism just like the previous lip balms.

There is one thing that is changed in this range, which is it’s fragrance. It smells like mint and when I apply it on lips I get a cooling sensation due to presence of menthol. It has a buttery texture which glides easily on lips. Vivid Peach is a reddish-peach shade which has a hint of popping brightness. I personally like this shade as it’s unique and lively. It’s way pigmented for a lip balm and it’s pigmentation is buildable. On my pigmented lips, though not fully, it makes the pigmentation less noticeable and I’m left with tinted lips. It gives the lips a shiny look though which subsides after few minutes. It’s moisturizing and hydrating but not more than the previous Baby Lips lip balms. It contains SPF 13 so there’s no fear of tanning on lips. It keeps my lips moisturized for 3-4 hours after which reapplication is needed. I love wearing this to college those days when I don’t feel like wearing a lipstick. I’m looking forward try its others shades as well!

Swatches:

Pros:
Has a minty fragrance
Gives a cooling sensation to lips
Has a semi-opaque color pay off
Keeps lips soft and hydrated

Cons:
It doesn’t keep lips moisturized for long as per its claims

Final Word: I think this lip balm is a great choice for girls and ladies who prefer sheer lipsticks and just want a tint of color on lips. It provides sun protection, keeps lips hydrated and is easy to carry. I love this shade and recommend this!

Rating: 4.5/5

I love this range but have noticed it has more color now but less hydration. But I still love it as it has a beautiful tint. What lip balms do you prefer tinted ones with less moisture or non-tinted with ample hydration? Share in the comments!

Lots of love,
Mariyam
