Lakme Eyeconic Kajal range has been introduced years ago. Again they introduced 3 new shades and one of them I bought is Lakme Eyeconic Regal Green and I guess I’m one of the last people to try it out.
This shade has been on my wishlist since it was launched and when I saw it on sale, I procrastinated no more and bought it. I also brought the brown one. After using it on and on, here’s my review on it.

Lakme Eyeconic Kajal Regal Green Review
I like kajal more than eyeliners as they’re less likely to get messy and even if they get, I can always smudge them and correct the look. That doesn’t happen with liquid liners, though. This kajal comes in a black retractable case with no color coding for different shades but only a turquoise strip that has the shade name in it. So it’s pretty much time-consuming to identify the shade.Â

‘Regal Green’ is a shimmery, forest green shade that will suit every skin tone. On my dusky skin, it turns up beautifully. Its pigmentation is great and I have to swipe it 2-3 times to get the shade turn up on my skin else it will show up on fair skin in a single swipe. It has a creamy texture which gets crumbly in winters so I heat it up a bit and then apply. It gives a precise finish and is smudge-proof. I use it on the waterline and on my eyelids. I sometimes use it on my waterline and it works fine too that way. I feel irritation when the kajal gets in contact with my eyes. It’s a great shade that will look best in night makeup as well as in day time when it’s applied minimally. It’s wear time is impressive as it stays on my oily eyelids for at least 5-6 hours and after that, it smudges and transfers on to my under eye area. When I pat loose powder under it, it stays for even more longer. I like wearing this beautiful shade to college and functions and it looks fabulous either way.
Â
Pros:
- Pretty shade apt for any occasion preferably parties and weddings
- Affordably priced
- Has a creamy texture that glides smoothly on eyes
- Can be smudged and used as an eyeshadow
- Smudge proof finish
- Stays for long period of time
Cons:
- Sometimes it gives irritation to my eyes
Final Word: I like this shimmery forest green shade that adds instant glam to my eyes and looks perfect on any occasion. It has a soft texture which is smudge-proof and stays up to 5-6 hours easily. I recommend this kajal as it will look fab on every skin tone.
