It’s a usual sunny day and I can’t help but blog. Today my review will be on Dabur Gulabari Premium Gulab Jal.
It is used for many purposes like toning, mixing it in face packs and as a face freshener. I use it in my CTM routine for toning. Many girls use it even today as Dabur is an old and established company. I’ll tell you how was my experience…

Ingredients: Aqua, Fragrance (Rooh Gulab), Rose Oil, Propylene Glycol, Methyl Parabens, Bronopol.

How to use Rose Water:
• Use with cotton daily for cleansed, glowing skin.
• Use with face pack for extra radiance.
• Use with Glycerin for soft glowing skin.

Dabur Gulabari Premium Gulab Jal comes in a plastic bottle which is transparent with a pink colored screw cap. When the cap is opened a plastic stopper is fitted on the neck with ‘pierce’ written on the stopper. It is suggested to make a hole in it to let the rose water come out easily and in the right quantity. Appearance looks all pinkish and cute to me.

My Experience with Dabur Gulabari Gulab Jal Rose Water

Two years ago, I knew nothing about CTM(Cleansing Toning Moisturizing) routine and when I got to know, I got myself a good cleanser, toner, and a moisturizer. Dabur Gulabari Premium Gulab Jal is my first toner. Rosewater is transparent in color and smells of roses which is refreshing.

After cleansing, I dab it in cotton and then apply to my face and it takes out the dirt effectively. It stings a bit on eyes so I keep it away from them. I take out about 4-5 drops for my face and neck. It’s pocket-friendly and will last long. It evenly tones out my skin and gives an instant glow.

I wish it came in a spray bottle (it comes also in a spray bottle but in a different variant which has loads of chemicals so I won’t get it). It freshens up my face and controls oil for a good period of time. It’s a good toner for oily skinned girls.

Although there are many uses, I use it only for toning purpose. I hate the fact that it contains parabens and doesn’t think natural rose water should contain this much of chemicals. I refrigerate it before using and it gives me a cool sensation. I’m not sure it will suit dry skin or not but I’m sure it works on normal and oily skin.

Pros:

  • Good quality toner at affordable price.
  • Takes dirt out of the face.
  • Property of being multipurpose.
  • Imparts a healthy glow on the skin.
  • Refreshes the skin on summer days.

Cons:

  • Contains parabens and other chemicals.
  • May not be suitable for dry skin.

Final Word

All in all, it’s a nice rose toner which does its job effectively and removes dirt and grime. Since I’m using it for two years I trust this product. Only thing I don’t like is that it contains chemicals. You can’t get better than this at such a price. It makes the face radiant instantly so I use it every now and then and recommend it to try once.

Have you tried Dabur Gulabari Premium Gulab Jal? I bet you must have! How was your experience?
