These days when beauty has become a standard, everyone is so concerned about it. Some use loads of products and some do away by just using a face wash and cream. Beautifying oneself requires effort which not everybody can do in their busy lives. But then there are some simple things you can do to your skin which will benefit you in a long run. I’m listing out some effortless good habits that will enhance your beauty further.

1. Letting your Face Air-dry instead of Rubbing it with Towel

Wiping and rubbing wet face with a towel will be harsh on skin and unintentionally makes it saggy. Let your face air-dry or gently pat your skin with a clean towel.

2. Avoid Making Unnecessary Facial Expressions
Squinting eyes, making pouts, constant frowning will not only make your face appear unpleasant but also give a chance for fine lines to appear. Try to maintain a normal facial expression every time and avoid stretching your skin further.

3. Clearing up your Gut
Excessive intake of coffee, dairy, sugar, smoking and alcohol might do disaster for your beauty and health as well. First of all try to cut all of them and if not, atleast take them in moderation. You’ll see the visible effects yourself!

4. Include Toner in Your Skincare Routine
Toner is bit underrated but can do wonders to your skin when you start using them. They cleanse your skin and remove makeup residue. Use rose water, mint water and even ice water to shut those pores. Choose a toner which hydrates your skin too.

5. Start Exfoliating
Whether you have oily or sensitive skin, exfoliation is an important step to clarify your skin. Use a mild scrub at least twice a week on face and body. Exfoliation helps in removing scars, dead skin and makeup residue and cleans dirt-filled pores. If you have oily skin, use a gel based scrub and if dry, a cream based scrub would be a safe bet.

6. Use Oils Instead of Makeup Remover
As easy and hassle free makeup removers sounds, they’re not so. Makeup removers contain harsh chemicals that might irritate your skin. Instead use natural oils like almond oil, coconut oil and olive oil to remove makeup while being mild to skin. They won’t just clean up your face but also make it soft and dewy too.

7. Cutting off Chemicals in Beauty Products
To preserve and maintain the efficacy of beauty products chemicals are added to it. Bleach is also present in some facial creams which give a brightening effect. My advice, just stop using them. Find out products that have more natural extracts on their ingredients list. Parabens (methylparaben, butylparaben, propylparaben, isobutylparaben, ethylparaben), SLS, Mineral oil, Petrolatum, Artificial Fragrance are some deadly ingredients to look out for and avoid in your beauty product.

8. Drink Lots of Water
You’ve read this almost everywhere and I’m not going to stress it further. To keep your skin hydrated and clear, have water at least every hour. If you find it difficult then read this post of mine where I talk about ways to help you get the habit of drinking water.

So ladies, are you ready to follow these easy beauty habits?
