My Experience with Faces Canada Ultime Pro Matte Mousse Foundation
Faces Canada Ultime Pro Matte Mousse Foundation comes in a black colored tube with silver metallic revolving cap. The tube is very sleek and compact which ensures that this foundation is travel-friendly and it has a very thin nozzle to it which omit the right amount of foundation on pressing. Hence does not lead to wastage which I like.
When you will apply the foundation it feels lightweight and your skin won’t feel heavy. It is as light as a leaf, making your skin flawless. You can build sheer to medium coverage. It is a long-lasting foundation, delivers a natural, mattifying and flawless finish.
Talking about the texture, it is like a whipped cream which makes it feel silky and soft when you touch the skin. It has a perfect texture for a person with oily skin and is highly recommendable during hot and humid weather. It can also work as a concealer, in case you don’t have proper concealer. Though it won’t give the same result as a concealer but will help to hide your dark spots at least 50 percent. If you don’t apply any powder or setting powder it will still give you finish look as it is mattifying.
Apart from it comes in four different shades and I am using the first shade mentioned below that is Ivory. The four different shades are:
- Ivory-Lightest shade for fair skin yellow undertone (warm)
- Natural: Light shade for fair skin with neutral or pink undertone (cool and neutral)
- Beige: Medium shade for wheatish skin with neutral or cool undertone
- Sand: Dark medium shade for dusky skin with yellow or red skin tone (warm and neutral)
I think these shades are very limited at least one more shade should be added as one of the colors of the skin is tanned which is due to sunburn so to match that color one shade should be introduced.
The foundation lasts for good 4 to 5 hours and with powder, it can last up to 8 hours which is great.
How to apply?
Take the desired quantity on your wrist and with one finger make dot all over your face and neck and then blend it well with the beauty blender ( I prefer this more) or blend it with your hand.
Tip:
- For better results apply moisturizer before applying the foundation so that creases are not visible.
- I don’t set it with a compact immediately as it is oil-free, so I apply powder after 2-3 hours only for touch up.

This foundation is light and has medium to light coverage which gives you a natural look. Plus, this foundation is travel-friendly. It is water-resistant which is a good thing if you get wet in rain still it might not come off and it gives you a matte finish look and not too shiny. This foundation stays fresh for 4 to 5 hours and can even extend up to 7-8 hours after touch up. It is like a whipped cream which makes your skin feel soft and suits all skin types. So, one should go with this foundation because since then I have been getting a lot of compliments from my friends whenever I attended any party or function.
