I own a Wet n Wild Megalast Catsuit Liquid Eyeshadow in Cashmere Love. Now, I am not a huge fan of liquid eyeshadows in general. One, because I have had bad experiences with them in the past. Two, because most of the high-quality and performing liquid eyeshadows are expensive as hell!
I will be honest – half of my makeup vanity is filled up with Wet n Wild products. They are my favorite drugstore makeup line. They are affordable and they perform well. It is a win-win situation. But somehow, the Megalast Liquid Eyeshadow didn’t do it for me. You’ll get to know why in this review.

My Experience with Wet n Wild MegaLast Liquid Catsuit Eyeshadow
The liquid eyeshadow comes in a transparent slim, and round tube with a black twisting cap. The long wand applicator is built to work evenly and smoothly across the skin. The tube details the brand name, label, batch code, shade range, and distributor details. It comes inside a plastic box that details the information and ingredients. The tube is sturdy, secure and safe to travel with. The writings on the tube can fade away with time and use.
The consistency of the eyeshadow is watery and thin. The eyeshadow contains glitter particles that take some time to settle down on the skin. Now, you have to be careful while applying the eyeshadow because it can go everywhere if you’re impatient (like me). The product is quite blendable and easy to use on the eye.
You can use the narrow applicator, the glassy bottle that the eyeshadow comes in. After applying the eyeshadow on the eyelid, keep your eyes closed for a good minute or two. The eyeshadow needs to dry out before you move on to doing other parts of your eye.
The shade I own is Cashmere Love – a silver metallic and glittery eyeshadow. The glittery eyeshadow looks uber classy and flattering on the eyes. You can apply it to the center of the eyelid over a gold or brown base. It gives your eye a shiny, foiled, metallic, and smooth finish. It has depth and dimension to the eye look. Plus, the eyeshadow is super affordable.
Even after the eyeshadow dries out and settles down, the gold metallic glitter tends to stick to the brow bone and other parts of the eye. This gives the eyes a dirty and blotchy look. It never looks impeccable when your eye makeup goes everywhere. The glitter also falls on the cheeks after it dries out. However, the product lasts on the eyes for a good 4-5 hours despite the fallout.
Pros:
- Has an awesome pigmentation
- Comes at an affordable price
- Blends easily on the skin
- Gives a smooth, metallic finish
- Flatters on every skin tone
Cons:
- The eyeshadow falls out even after drying.
- The glitter tends to spread all over the eyelid.

Final Word
While the Wet n Wild MegaLast Liquid Catsuit Eyeshadow lasts a good 4-5 hours and is deeply pigmented, it also suffers from a major drawback – the fallout. There are ways to minimize the fallout during the duration of the makeup wear. However, the glitter particles that end up sticking to other parts of the face can give your makeup blotchy and shiny look.
