The Korean beauty wave is in the air – from K-pop to Korean multiple steps skincare routine. Like everyone, even I was too impatient to get my hands on the skincare products.
Korean skincare routine generally consists of 7 step skincare, including cleansing, scrubbing, toning, moisturizing, masking. It sounded like a task for a girl like me who does not ever bother herself to wash her face twice a day. So, I knew I was planning to add a major task to my busy schedule, but I was up for it. The next major question was – how am I gonna get my products for the skincare routine I planned? Thanks to globalization. Korean products are readily available in India…yes!
One fine lucky day, I was able to grab my hands on IT’S SKIN Hyaluronic Acid Moisture Emulsion at a Nykaa store in Gurgaon and that where my never-ending journey and love for Korean skincare and products started.
About the Product:
I belong to the dehydrated skin type category; my skin has enough oils but not enough moisture to help it look really hydrated and healthy. When I came across hyaluronic acid, a magical ingredient known to retain water, to keep your tissues well lubricated, moist and so much more like it boosts hydration, removes fine lines and wrinkles, repairs your skin’s tissue and kicks dark spots’ behinds. Knowing about the benefits and its presence in a Korean product gave me no second doubts and I just grabbed it.
IT’S SKIN Hyaluronic Acid line promises to give plenty of moisture to the skin and manages healthy, including sodium hyaluronate with skincare effect. It gives dehydrated skin the pump of moisture and hydration that it naturally needs.

My experience with IT’S SKIN Hyaluronic Acid Moisture Emulsion
In my case, it worked like magic, giving me the results it promised. My skin started to glow, a thing that I literally pray for. The first thing that’s surely gonna attract you is the packaging- it comes in a gorgeous marble bottle. Literally, anyone can fall for its packaging! It also works well for oily and sensitive skin as my sister also started using it, seeing the results it gave on my skin.
Having a very light texture, nothing too oily or heavy, it proves perfect for use in summer. It glides easily on the skin and gets absorbed within seconds. One of these bothersome is that it does not have enough oils that the skin requires during winter as the winters in India, especially in the northern part, can be pretty harsh. You will have to layer it with a heavy base cream to provide that much-needed winter moisture. It has got a particular characteristic smell but no powering one.
My skin looks enough hydrated and even people told me that my face now glows. You won’t have to apply a tonne of products to get the results in a single use. Just a pea-sized amount does the work. This means that the bottle is gonna last you long. It locks moisture for a fair amount of time and does not require multiple applications and also, you can’t imagine carrying such a huge bottle around… It will also prove to be a bit troublesome while traveling as it is heavy and not something that you can dump into your luggage and think that the bottle will meet you in the same condition.
Pros:
- Light in weight
- Easy application
- Can be mixed with foundations, sunscreens, BB creams, etc. and applied
- Great for summers
- Good for sensitive skin
- Can be used on both dry and oily skin types
- Hydrating but not oily
Cons:
- The only disadvantage that I could feel was that if you plan to apply just the emulsion and leave it out, it won’t provide your skin with enough oils to keep your skin oily enough, especially during the winters the dry air is too harsh and damaging. You will have to use it with cream on top.
- It can be a bit expensive but enough for one 1 to 1.5 months application.
IT'S SKIN Hyaluronic Acid Moisture Emulsion
Final Word
It’s the best every hydrating emulsion I have ever come across. It doesn’t provide enough moisture during winters, which will be a major concern for dry skin individuals and invest in another product, a cream. If you want to get rid of dehydration and dull skin of your face and get a glowy, dewy face, then give it a try. It won’t be of any use and a waste of money well.
Overall, it’s hydrating and gives me that Korean glass skin glow. If you get a chance and are willing to invest in a good emulsion, then go for it.
Thank you for the review. I bought myself yesterday this product, this morning I tried it and I loved it!
