Maybelline Baby Lips (Anti Oxidant Berry) – Review

Hello beauties! Hope you all are doing well! 🙂
As we all know Baby Lips from Maybelline are one of the cutest lip balms we’ve come across ever. Thanks to Alia Bhatt who promoted the kiss song which made us so eager to buy them. 😛
Today I’ll be reviewing a variant of baby lips i.e, Anti Oxidant Berry. (The name sounded so scientific to me 😛 )

Price : Rs 150/- as of 2015

The packaging looks great and combination of pink and blue seems cute. It’s a non-tinted lip balm so don’t expect any color. The color of the lip balm is light baby pink and when applied gives a nice shine to lips. It smells like mild berries or more specific, like strawberry jam which stays like for few minutes.

In the first use, it was little hard to swipe but after continuous swiping it came very smooth. I had another baby lips that was tinted but I bought this only to use at home where I don’t need any tint. You can wear this regularly at night and next morning you’ll be amazed to see the results. My lips became instantly smooth and hydrated.

It contains SPF 20 so it’s a big advantage for ladies who go out. It can be applied under lipstick or lip gloss as a primer or a sunscreen.
It brings out the natural color of the lips but pigmented lips ladies may not like it because it does nothing for the pigmentation but regular usage may protect lips from further pigmentation.
Though it claims 12 hour moisture, it stays on for 4-5 hours max without meals. You need to reapply after that to gain the maximum benefits.
It’s non-tinted so guys can also use it to moisturize their lips.

Here’s a swipe on my wrist :

Final Word : If you want to protect your lips and make them like babies, then it’s a must buy product. It keeps your lips moisturized and hydrated for a long time. It saves your lips from harsh sun.

Continuous usage can even help with your pigmentation.
