Clean and Clear Deep Action Oil Control Face Wash – Review

Hey ladies! I haven’t been here since a long time blame it to my college schedule and the time I’m taking to use products before reviewing them. I miss how I used to write a post everyday and now I rarely post. I feel bad every time when I realise this. So I’ve thought to post every other day religiously and today’s review will be about Clean and Clear Deep Action Oil Control Face Wash. Keep reading to know how it fared for me.

Clean and Clear Deep Action Oil Control face wash comes in a dark blue tube with a transparent flip cap. It also has a screw cap underneath.

My Experience: As I have extremely oily skin in summer and I needed a heavy duty cleanser so I got this and this face wash caters best for oily skin. It’s in white color with thick creamy texture. It takes lot of effort to squeeze the product out of the tube. It smells like every other Clean and Clear product. I only need a pea-sized amount for entire face. It doesn’t lather well which doesn’t give me the feeling of clean skin so I use more of the product.

After washing, my face feels oil free but bit heavy but it isn’t drying. However it won’t suit dry skin. I notice a hint of brightness and evenness on my face. It’s 8 hours claim of staying oil free is bit exaggerated because it controls oil for maximum 3-4 hours and that depends on humidity of weather. I like the fact that it deeply cleanses but the basic version of Clean and Clear face wash which has a liquid consistency gives me better satisfaction of a clean face than this.

● Deeply cleans skin.
● Requires less amount for entire face.
● Brighter face post washing.
● Best for oily and combination skin.

● Doesn’t lather well.
● It’s thick texture makes it difficult to squeeze out the product.
● Doesn’t live up to its claims and controls oil barely for 3-4 hours.

Final Word: Overall this is a decent face wash that deeply cleans dirt and grime from face. It isn’t drying at all and face becomes instantly bright and clean after washing. However don’t expect it to control oil for 8 hours. It’s recommended for oily and combination skin girls. Dry skin may skip it!

    1. Hi, Silvia
Unfortunately, it’s unavailable everywhere. It seems like the brand stopped manufacturing it. 🙁
Though, you can go for Neutrogena Foaming Face Wash which is similar to this Clean n Clear one.
