Breakouts are painful apart from looking ugly and of course they leave a scar. I try to avoid them as much as I can through being cautious while using skincare products. I get breakouts frequently these days. When I saw Clean and Clear Pimple Clearing Face Wash online, I ordered it without a second thought. After using it till empty, I’m ready for a review. Let’s see how it worked for me…
Price: Rs. 80/- for 80 g
What does it Claim?
It comes in a green plastic tube with a transparent flip cap. It’s sturdy but little bit of the product gets collected under the cap.
My Experience: This face wash contains neem and lemon which are antibacterial and thus help in acne and pimples. It’s in gel form with a mild fragrance. It reminds me of Garnier Neem and Tulsi face wash which I’ve reviewed here. I need a pea sized amount for entire face. It gets slippery while being massaged on the face but after few splashes it gets rinsed away.
My face feels fresher and cleaner after washing. I don’t feel the need to moisturize as it doesn’t leave my face dehydrated. I have oily skin and this, being a mild wash, works excellent for me. It keeps my skin oil free for 2-3 hours at least. It will suit every skin type.
Coming to the pimple clearing claim, it stands somewhat true. I experienced lesser breakouts and when got one occasionally, it was due to some other product I was testing. I used it all throughout winters and loved it.
● Stands true to its claim, prevents breakout.
● Mild face wash that doesn’t leave skin dry.
● Apt for every skin type rather it be normal, dry, oily or combination.
● Some may find this face wash too mild.
Final Word: If you get pimples often, you should try this face wash as it works on pimples. It doesn’t leave skin dry and cleans effectively. Since it is mild it will suit every skin so I do recommend it!
