Can you believe how fast winters have approached? Weather is getting chilly day by day and skin craves for moisture. This is the time when it’s essential to moisturize skin and keep it hydrated. Just like our body and face, hands too need to be moisturized. That’s when hand cream comes to rescue. The one I’ve been using these days is Konad Niju Mango Moisture Hand Cream. I couldn’t wait to share my experience with you!
Price and Quantity: Rs. 170 for 60 ml
Konad Niju Mango Moisture Hand Cream comes in a tube with an orange screw cap. For 60 ml, this tube looks huge which makes it too big for travelling and takes up space in the bag.
My Experience: My hands tend to become very dry in winters. Due to this they appear dark and dull so I got this hand cream.
It contains olive oil and mango extracts which are moisturizing. It’s white, and smells like mangoes. Fragrance is mild and fades away quickly though I can smell it when sniffing my hand.
After application, my hands feel soft and hydrated. Smells good too. But no, the moisturizing effect lasts only for an hour or two. Not more than that! After that my hands again cry for moisture so I keep reapplying it. I think it’s good for summers and AC environment. It can’t deal with severe dryness that is felt in winters. I always keep it on my bedside table for regular application.
● Smells like mangoes. I love the way it smells.
● Makes hands super soft and smooth.
● Isn’t greasy, sticky or oily.
● Tube is just too big.
● Moisturizing effect doesn’t last long.
● Not apt for harsh winters.
Final Word: I’d say it’s an average hand cream that hydrates and makes hands soft though it can’t deal with harsh winters unless you’re ready for reapplying. It’s good for summers and AC environment. Get it if you find it on a discount.
