Natural herbal formulations tend to change color over time. However, the product efficacy remains unchanged.
Himalaya Herbals Purifying Neem Scrub comes in a white plastic tube with a green colored flip top cap. The cap shuts properly to avoid product wastage. The tube looks pretty big and takes a lot of space if you put it in your purse.
I have an oily skin which is prone to pimples that is why I got this scrub as it had Neem as an ingredient. Neem has antibacterial properties which fight and avoid acne, pimples and gives a clearer skin.
The scrub is in white color with tiny green and orange granules. It has a creamy consistency and smell is herbal and of Neem. Expecting a lot from this product I squeezed a small amount of it and applied it on my wet face. It didn’t feel harsh on my face and I massaged for 2-3 minutes. After that, I rinsed my face few times and I can see a glow on my face and a cleaner skin. It also left my face moisturized so I just used a toner after it and skipped the moisturizer. My skin felt soft and even. I have whiteheads around my nose, chin, and cheeks but it didn’t remove them effectively. But it definitely clears up the skin and removes dead skin cells. Granules are too small to clear out blackheads or whiteheads.
Since it is a herbal scrub, my skin always feels good after scrubbing. It will suit all types of skin including acne prone skin. I’ve been using this scrub on and off for 6 months and it never disappointed me.
● A herbal product with natural ingredients.
● Fresh herbal smell.
● Removes dead skin effectively.
● Imparts a glow on face.
● Moisturizes the skin.
● Contains parabens.
● Didn’t remove my whiteheads.
Final Word: With a purifying neem scrub from this brand, you shouldn’t doubt it. It will suit every skin type. It has natural ingredients which are safer but the only con is that it has parabens. If you’re fine with that then go ahead and get it. Buy a smaller tube and try it.
